Introduction to Baodi
Baodi district is in the north of Tianjin, it lies in 117C18”—117C40” east longitude and 39C21”—39C50” north latitude, located in the north of north China Plain, in the triangle of Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan city zone, close to Bohai bay. East and northeast connect with Yutian country Hebei province, and Ninghe country Tianjin; south and southwest connect with Ninghe country and Wuqing district; west and northwest connect with Xianghe country Hebei province, and Sanhe city Hebei province; north and northeast connect with Ji country and Yutian country Hebei province.
Baodi covers an area of 1,509.66 square km. Baodi is 65 km in length from south to north, and 24 km in width from east to west. It has mild climate, and belongs to continental climate of warm zone. Its four seasons are distinct. The discrimination between warmness and coldness, between dryness and humidity is clear. Dry in spring, hot weather and more rain in summer. The average of temperature is 11.6 C, annual rainfall is 613 mm. The average of Baodi is one part of Tianjin.
Baodi has three sub district offices, 21 towns and 765 villages, the population is 650,000.
In Baodi district convenient transportation, has a wonderful living environment. Baodi is located in the center area among Beijing, Tianjin and Tangshan. It is 85 km from Beijing on the northwest, 73 km from Tianjin on the south, 105 km from Tangshan on the east. It is 85 km from Beijing international airport, 75 km from Tianjin international airport, 90 km from Tianjin new port.
Tianjin—Jixian railway, Tianjin—Jixian expressway, Baodi—Pinggu road and Tianjin—Weichang road are across south and north of Baodi.
Beijing—Shenyang expressway and Tianjin—Jixian expressway are across east and west of Baodi.
Both Beijing—Shenyang and Tianjin—Jixian expressway across are Baodi district urban area.
Drive away from Baodi to Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan and Tianjin port, airport all about take 40-50 minutes.
And also close to Qinhuangdao, Panshan, Chengde Mountain Resort, tourism scenic spots.
